Your Browser Check Results

You are using a Web browser that we couldn't identify.
-
Cookies are not enabled in your Web browser.
- What does this mean?
-
Your Web browser isn't allowing use to place a small text file on your computer. This text file would contain a very long number (but no personally identifiable information) that is used to fetch your shopping cart and to keep track of whether you've logged into your account or not.
With cookies disabled, you cannot make any purchases from the Skiviez Web site.
- How do I correct the problem?
-
You must allow your Web browser to accept cookies.
- If you're using Internet Explorer, select Tools → Internet Options. Click on the "Privacy" tab, and then move the slider down to "Medium". Then click OK.
- If you're using Mozilla Firefox, select Tools → Options. Click on the "Privacy" tab, and then ensure that the checkbox next to "Accept cookies from sites" is checked. Then click OK.
-
JavaScript is not enabled in your Web browser.
- What does this mean?
-
JavaScript is used by Web sites to manipulate elements on the page after it has been loaded in your Web browser. We use JavaScript to provide advanced user interface interaction, such as slide shows and tabs. However, the site will continue to function without JavaScript.
- How do I correct the problem?
-
Simply enable JavaScript in your Web browser.
- If you're using Internet Explorer, select Tools → Internet Options. Click on the "Security" tab, click the "Custom" button, and then ensure that "Scripting → Active Scripting" is set to "Enable". Then click OK twice.
- If you're using Mozilla Firefox, select Tools → Options. Click on the "Content" tab, and then ensure that the checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript" is checked. Then click OK.
Regarding Skiviez and Web Standards
The Skiviez Web site uses the latest W3C standards, including XHTML 1.1 and CSS, to provide an accessible, compatible browsing experience. In general, this means that our site is compatible with a wide range of browsers and devices.
To take advantage of these standards, you'll need to be using a recent Web browser (i.e., from this century) that allows us to set cookies (so we can keep track of your shopping cart) and use JavaScript (which enhances the browsing experience with tabs, slideshows, and the like). If you prefer not to enable JavaScript, however, don't fret; the Skiviez Web site has been designed to degrade gracefully and remain fully functional (albeit less aesthetically pleasing) when JavaScript is disabled.
Tested and Supported Web Browsers
Skiviez tests its Web site regularly in a variety of Web browsers.
Fully Supported
Skiviez fully supports the following Web browsers. If you experience problems on the site while using one of these browsers, please submit a technical support request.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later
- Firefox 2.0 or later
- Opera 9.0 or later
- Safari 2.0 or later
Conditionally Supported
The following Web browsers are conditionally supported. While they will still work, their extreme age and lack of standards support may prevent some features from rendering correctly or functioning at all:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
- Firefox 1.0
Not Supported
Finally, the following Web browsers are not supported. They lack support for common Web standards in several critical areas:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or earlier
- Microsoft Internet Explorer for Macintosh (any version)
- Netscape Navigator / Communicator (any version)
